|  | The first two maps for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 were released on Tuesday for Call of Duty Elitepremium subscribers on the Xbox 360. What does Activision have planned for the rest of the year? A newly released content calendar lets us know how many new maps and missions are coming each month.
The calendar can be found at CallOfDuty.com and confirms the release schedule for both maps and missions for the coming months on the Xbox 360. For example, we'll only see one new map for February but a map and two missions for March.
Here's the schedule.
- January - 2 maps
- February - 1 map
- March - 1 map, 2 missions
- April - 2 maps
- May - 1 map, 1 mission
- June - 1 map, 1 mission, 1 mode
- July - 2 maps
- August - 1 map, 1 mission, 1 mode
- September - 1 map, 1 mission
Remember, you have to be a Call of Duty Elite premium subscriber on the Xbox 360 to see this schedule. PS3 premium subscribers will likely see this content a month later and non-premium subscribers will see the content bundled together in March for the Xbox 360 and with June
and September releases likely. Naturally, PS3 and PC will get these bundles a month later. |
